CTCMA Annual General Meeting

Posted on January 14, 2012

We look forward to seeing you at the CTCMA’s Annual General Meeting this Sunday January 15th in Richmond. This is an important meeting with several resolutions that demand our collective attention.

One area of concern is the proposed resolution on language(s). We feel that there needs to be more discussion, disclosure, and refinement of this resolution and that to vote on it at this time would be premature.  We recommend that everyone abstain from voting at this time and that this resolution be tabled for now.We want to give the CTCMA sufficient time to disclose the intent of this direction and clarify the scope of minimum requirements before registrants are asked to vote on this.  We want to take time to honour the history of our medicine which is Chinese and encourage our community to support one another in working together to create long term goals that promote TCM in BC.

The TCMABC is committed to promoting co-operation in our community and helping nurture our collective professional communication skills so our role in BC’s Healthcare community can take its rightful front row seat.

Your voice is important. Please join us Sunday to share your views, enjoy networking, and help ensure a strong future for TCM in BC.
