TCMA executive, directors, employees, volunteers and affiliates are committed to respecting the confidentiality of our subscribers and members' (hereinafter called customer) personal and business information.

We will never release identifying customer information that is provided to us by our customers without the prior consent of the customer. Likewise, our participating business partners will not jeopardize any customers' privacy by selling or releasing information obtained from TCMA's electronic marketing applications.

To ensure the commitment to client privacy is upheld, we have developed a Privacy Code, which governs the behaviour of TCMA volunteers employees, affiliates, and suppliers with regard to the accuracy, confidentiality and security of all client information.

TCMA and its employees are responsible for customer information under their possession or custody, including information that has been transferred to a third party for processing (IE., for Channels newsletter distribution).

The purposes for which subscriber information is collected shall be identified before or at the time the information is collected.
The prior knowledge and consent of our customers are required for the collection, use or disclosure of customer information.
The collection of customer information shall be limited to that which is necessary for the purposes identified by TCMA and our customers.
Customer information will not be used or disclosed for purposes other than those for which the information was collected except with the consent of the customer or as required by law.

TCMA will make readily available to customers specific information about its policies and practices relating to the management of their information.
Customers are able to challenge compliance with the above principles with the person(s) accountable for compliance.
